TROUBLE
Trouble is eager to prove himself. Babyfaced and hungry for approval, he finally gets what seems like an easy job from his boss: pick up a car and drive it across town.
What Trouble isn’t counting on is what’s waiting for him in that car, in the middle of nowhere.
As the errand spirals into panic and absurdity, Trouble is forced to navigate loyalty, fear, and survival inside a world where belonging comes with a cost. He must learn the hard way that if something’s too easy, either there’s a catch or you’re supposed to get caught. Too bad for Trouble — it’s both.
Set within a distinctly Jamaican social landscape, Trouble is a dark comedy crime thriller about a young man trying to earn his place, only to discover that the place he wants may be more dangerous than he understands.

Jamaica is not a backdrop
It is the world that shapes every decision
Set within a distinctly Jamaican social landscape, the film uses local rhythm, speech, humor, and social codes to build tension. We did not want Jamaica to function as a backdrop, but as the living environment that shapes Trouble’s decisions. Every call, pause, glance, and wrong turn carries the weight of a world where people are connected, reputation matters, and approval can come at a cost.
